An OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) scan is a medical imaging technique that uses light to produce detailed, three-dimensional cross-sectional images of the eye's layers. It enables high-resolution retinal imaging for the detection of conditions such as macular degeneration, macular holes, and epiretinal membranes, as well as precise measurement and monitoring of the optic nerve head and nerve fibre layer for glaucoma management.
The Heidelberg Spectralis is renowned for its exceptional imaging accuracy and high-speed acquisition of 40,000 scans per second, making it particularly well-suited for managing complex eye conditions.
Colourimetry is the process of precisely identifying the exact colour tint that helps relieve your symptoms. The Intuitive Colourimeter is a scientifically designed instrument that works through all 360 degrees of colour space, pinpointing the precise hue, saturation, and brightness that works best for you. With tens of thousands of possible colour combinations available, it can identify the tint that makes a real difference - whether you experience visual stress, migraines, or other neurological symptoms.
Once your ideal colour has been identified, precision-tinted lenses are made, spectrally checked, and dispatched from a specialist lab, along with a certificate of authenticity to confirm you're receiving genuine Cerium precision tinted lenses.
